NEMA Loses Deputy Director, Sanusi Ado

Deputy director, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Mallam Sanusi Ado has died.

NEMA spokesperson, Ezekiel Manzo, said in a statement that Ado died Sunday night in Kaduna after a brief illness.

The late Ado before his death, was a deputy director in the department of Special Duties.

He has also served in various other departments and capacities as deputy director, Relief and Rehabilitation, deputy director, Human Resources Management and head of NEMA Kano Territorial Office.

He also said the news of Mallam Ado’s death jolted many staff as they expressed their grief and prayed for the repose of his soul.

Meanwhile, the director-general NEMA, Mustapha Ahmed, has described the untimely death of the deputy director as shocking. 

He, on behalf of the management and staff of the agency, commiserated with the family of the deceased over the sad loss. He also prayed for the repose of the Late Sanusi’s soul in eternal rest.

The remains of Ado were laid to rest in Kaduna yesterday after funeral prayers according to Islamic injunction.
