A hybrid Agbero approached us and moved close to the driver nearly whispering to him at first. When I heard the driver say “Later,” and he firmly refused, I knew there was some sort of disagreement between them, however, he managed to push into the man’s hand N500.

I asked the driver what was going on, he told me, “Na this people o, dem be like agbero, they collect money from us here and at the gate again for picking passengers. I have already paid for the one at the gate, and this man is disturbing me. I was puzzled.
