Princewill, who was the longest reigning traditional ruler in the state and former chairman of Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers, will be buried on November 29 and November 30, 2023.

Fubara spoke yesterday in Port Harcourt, the state capital, during the inauguration of Budget Screening and Monitoring Sub-committee for the burial.

The governor, who was represented by state commissioner for chieftaincy matters, Hon Charles Amadi, said he was pleased with the presentations made by some members of sub-committees.

He said he was convinced that all hands were on deck to ensure the peaceful transition of the late monarch and assured of state government’s assistance when the need arises.

Also, co-chairman of the committee, Chief David Briggs, advised members of the committee to see their appointment as a call to selfless service.
