President and founder of the Living Stone Church Assembly Worldwide, Bishop Jonas Katung, has described the validation of President Bola Tinubu’s election by the Supreme Court as an affirmation of the overwhelming mandate given to him by Nigerians.

Katung, who is one of the prominent northern bishops who openly supported Tinubu’s presidential aspiration and rallied support for him, told newsmen in Jos, the state capital that the decision of the apex court, was in tandem with the general wishes of Nigerians as they expressed freely through the ballot box during the last presidential elections which Tinubu won.

According to him, this victory is for the entire nation and lovers of democracy irrespective of tribal or religious affiliations and backgrounds stressing that the decision by the highest court of the land has cleared the coast for the Tinubu’s administration to settle down and face the task of delivering the Renewed Hope Agenda to Nigerians.
