National chairman, African Democratic Congress (ADC), Chief Ralph Nwosu, has said that the party has strategised on how to win Abia State in the 2023 general election.
Nwosu stated this in an interview with LEADERSHIP in Umuahia, the state capital, adding that with its mass appeal, the ADC will be the party to beat in the election.
He said, “I am here for a state working visit as well as to dialogue with the state working committee on modalities on how best the party will take over the government in the forthcoming election.”
The ADC chairman said he was happy that the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state had made victory easy for the ADC by repeatedly failing to deliver on its campaign promises for the past 24 years.
“The citizens are in dire need of good governance, jobs, security and development. They’re in need of democracy dividends, but they can’t have them until these evil and corrupt men in government are removed from power,” he said.
According to him, he had during the visit commissioned a water borehole project executive by the party’s candidates for the election in Amuzukwu, Umuahia North local government area of the state.
He commended the leadership of the party in the state for their efforts in mobilizing the members for the ongoing registration for permanent voters’ card for the election.
