Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Senate President, Abubakar Bukola Saraki and former PDP national chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, paid glowing tributes to Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi as he marked his 61st birthday yesterday.
Atiku on his twitter handle said, “On behalf of my family, I wish my good friend, presidential candidate of the LP, and former Governor of Anambra State, H.E Peter Obi, a memorable 61st birthday celebration. I wish you many more years in good health and vitality. -AA”
Also taking to his twitter handle, Saraki said, “As he celebrates his 61st birthday today, my family and I wish my friend, the former Governor of Anambra State and Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, H.E. @PeterObi a happy birthday!”
On his part, former PDP national chairman Secondus has congratulated his friend and the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, LP Mr Peter Obi as he marks his 61st birthday today.
Secondus, in a statement signed by his media aide, Ike Abonyi, hailed Obi for the unique and positive style he brought into the nation’s public life and wished him more blissful years ahead.
The former PDP boss remarked that Obi’s exemplary Leadership quality as exhibited in his eight year tenure in Anambra state stood him out as a generational leader.
“Your frugal attitude to public funds is worthy of emulation, especially for a struggling country like ours.”
Secondus noted the strength of character and reputation Obi brought into the nation’s polity and said he has added enormous value to the system.
