The protesters who marched from Unity Fountain to the National Assembly’s gate in Abuja, carried banners and placards in support of the Defence Ministers.

The group’s convener, Comrade Ekemini Bassy, while speaking to journalists, commended the Defence Ministers’ unwavering efforts in enhancing national security.

Bassy noted that the efforts of the ministers of Defence have drastically reduced attacks on all installations, and the number of insurgency-related deaths has significantly decreased.

He said: “During the previous administrations, we were having very pathetic and tragic situations in the aspect of insecurities all over the country.
