GBfoods, a leading culinary company, has reaffirmed its commitment to corporate social investment, as it has empowered members of Makoko community with entrepreneurial skills.

This philanthropic endeavour targeted women and children, emphasising the company’s dedication to fostering positive societal impact.

In a press statement, made available to LEADERSHIP, GBfoods revealed that it donated its flagship brands to women in the community aiming to foster independence and self-sufficiency, thereby aligning with UN Development Goal 1 for poverty eradication.

Furthermore, GBfoods’ key representatives visited the KHAN Foundation School, showcasing a comprehensive commitment to education. In addition to offering vital financial assistance for teachers’ salaries, GBfoods donated essential learning resources such as notebooks, a generator, school bags, water bottles, and provisions of food and water for the students. The teachers and students of the KHAN School warmly welcomed GBfoods representatives, expressing their gratitude through a cultural dance presentation.
