Gombe ALGON Chairman Is Dead

The chairman of Gombe local government area, Alhaji Ali Usman, has died from a prolonged heart disease.

Usman who doubled as the chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) Gombe State chapter is survived by two wives and nine children.

His brother Hadi Usman who broke the news of his death yesterday evening via a phone conversation said he died at a hospital in Cairo, Egypt.

According to him, the late chairman had been grappling with a heart disease which took him to Abuja hospital, India and now Egypt for treatment adding that he underwent a surgery in Cairo but died later.

“They carried out operation on him today but he passed on after the surgery. The death occurred just this evening.”, he revealed.
