According to him, Peter Obi’s approach to issues were nationalistic and humane, saying it was a personal pride the presidential candidate is a Nigerian and of Igbo extraction.

He said, “If you watch, you will understand that God is positioning him for something great, and the people supporting him cut across the country. It is more like a movement and I’m happy to be part of it”, Dike said.

He expressed the hope to witness a debate between Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar and Bola Tinubu,  saying it will give Nigerians an opportunity to assess the candidates on their programmes for the country to enable electorate vote wisely in the coming election.

Dike also commended Nigerian youths for identifying with Obi because  he was the person sent by God to make them actualise their dreams, saying “As for me, I am concerned about Peter Obi’s movement because that is where the future for my children lies.”

Responding, an elated Okeke commended Dike for identifying with the party. According to him, the party was formed to be victorious and designed for the common man right from the inception till date.

He said with Obi as Nigerian president, issues of insecurity, agitation, bad economy, and others would be addressed and commended Dike on the bold move.

Okeke said Obi was not just a social media movement, adding that “Labour Party has put everything in place to ensure that Peter Obi wins convincingly. If they say that Obi is only on social media, they are saying it at their own peril.”
