A statement made available to newsmen in Osogbo by the University’s Public Relations Officer, Ademola Adesoji, on Monday, revealed that Akande Omowunmi Oluwadamilare and Efuwape Adedayo Seseyon, both from the Department of Medicine and Surgery in the College were recently awarded a scholarship of N470,400 each by the company.

According to him, Dr. Isaac Adjei Doku, the General Manager of Corporate Affairs at WAPCO, emphasized that the selection of Akande and Efuwape was based on their remarkable academic performance.

The scholarship fund is designated to cover various educational expenses, including tuition fees, books, and other ancillary costs related to their studies, as highlighted by Dr. Doku.
