In addition to the experimental structural arrangement of the verses, Shogo’s poetry employs a non-rhyming form of poetic stanza that gives each poem a sense of individuality.

He also addressed issues such as obstacles, dreams, hope, courage, fear, strength, and weaknesses while butressing that ‘dreams are not illusions’ but they aim to assist you in exploring the most inner reaches of your mind and widening your heart in order to fulfill your ambition. Dreams allow the words to wash over you, and accept the feelings that arise.

“‘Dreams are not Illusion’ is a collection of poetry that has beginnings and endings yet appear to flow into one another, much as how each wave breaks and disappears into the vast and seemingly unending sea.

“A dream may seem like an illusion – and it may even seem just as unreal – but a dream is a far cry from an illusion. A dream is dynamic; capable of growing and taking shape. A dream can live for tomorrow and happily ever after. And this is what we’re privileged to help make happen.

“More importantly, the poem has a slice-of-life feel to it as you read it, as if you were reading ideas about one person’s life, but it also has a variety of intriguing styles that make it appealing to a broad audience. You can find uplifting, thought-provoking, moving, and open-to-interpretation poems right here,” he added.

Shogo Olalekan Uthman asserted that poetry has lyrical and profound language and phrasing, especially at the opening.

In his words: “I’m lost in a sea of doubt, my heart is racing with terror, but I know I must find my way out, to find myself again so clearly. ‘Poetry Soup’s homepage’s line, ‘I’m searching for the bravery to be me, to discover the strength to stand up, to be the person I’m intended to be, and answer the call’, is just one example of ideas we may have had but were unable to express.’

“This poet excels at putting into words the ideas and emotions that many of us have but struggle to articulate. Some poems will touch your mind in an inspirational way, while others will raise issues such as hope that is nevertheless related to the topics of dream realization.”
