BREAKING: Rivers Gov't Demolises Burnt Assembly Complex

Residents of Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, woke up on Wednesday morning to see bulldozers demolishing some sections of the State House of Assembly complex.

LEADERSHIP observed that the development was apparently to pave way for the reconstruction of the complex, which was razed down by unknown persons on Sunday, October 29, 2023.

LEADERSHIP also gathered that an alternate facility had been provided by Governor Siminalayi Fubara for members of the State House of Assembly to sit and deliberate under the speakership of Rt. Hon. Edison Ehie.
