NSIA Insurance Invests In Education, Sport

NSIA Insurance Company Limited said it is determined to increase insurance awareness and deepen penetration through investment in education and sport in the country.

To this end, NSIA Insurance recently completed the first and second phases of its school project in collaboration with Government Senior College, Victoria Island.

On its Football Field Development, the insurer developed a state-of-the-art football field and is now maintained for the benefit of the students at Government Senior College, VI, Lagos, even as has donated a modern public address system to facilitate effective communication within the school through its Public Address System Donation

While acknowledging the importance of academic excellence, NSIA has donated 400 copies of JAMB and WAEC past question booklets to support the students in their educational journey.

The presentation ceremony held recently was graced by key individuals, including Folayemi Balogun(Head of Human Capital Management), Amos Alao(Head of Retail Agency), Chigoziem Nkem-Ibegbulam(Head of Internal Control), Odunayo Dehinbo (Team Lead, Brand Management), Onyinye Otuokere (New Media and Special Projects Executive), Mrs. Oyedele, Principal of Government Senior College and Prefects from the College.

The principal of the school, while expressing her joy, stated that, ‘We are very happy about these gifts. It came so timely as the children are about to commence their inter-house sports activities.’

NSIA said it is committed to making a lasting impact in society. The school project is just one of the many causes it is dedicated to, and the firm looks forward to building on this foundation in the future.

Earlier, NSIA Insurance Limited had marked International Men’s Day 2023 with a special outreach initiative titled ‘Heroes without Capes.’ This unique programme, organised for men and executed by men, aimed to express gratitude and care to male artisans, traffic wardens, and LAWMA workers, recognizing their invaluable contributions to society.

On the bright and early morning of November 23, NSIA Insurance staff gathered on Victoria Island to celebrate, honoured, and give back to these everyday heroes without capes. The theme for this year’s celebration focused on appreciating the unsung male contributors to various fields.

The celebration at NSIA Insurance extended throughout the week, featuring a series of engaging activities for staff members, such as; Appreciation Corner, Free Prostate Cancer Checks, Let’s Talk, Odogwu Friday, among others.
