Victor Ugwu, the founder of a leading African-focused styling firm Marvclothing, over the weekend revealed his reasons for going into the fashion business. He said it was his age-long passion to always look good and he drew inspiration from top modeling celebrities as a kid.

Speaking with LEADERSHIP, Ugwu stressed that he also wants to use his firm to bridge the gap faced by fashion entrepreneurs through providing a comprehensive support system that empowers founders to transform their innovative ideas into thriving startups.

According to him, “Africa is a continent brimming with untapped potential and incredible founders. Through Marvclothing, we aim to empower these entrepreneurs and provide them with the necessary support to turn their ideas into reality.

“We believe that by fostering a vibrant startup ecosystem, we can drive economic growth, create jobs, and make a positive impact across Africa.”

While fielding questions on how he would foster unity among the style entrepreneurs, the fashion business mogul said his firm is now accepting applications for its startup programme; adding that founders with innovative ideas, early-stage startups, and those passionate about creating scalable businesses are encouraged to apply.
