Governor Alia, Akinola Appreciate Award Nominations

Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia has expressed his appreciation to the management and staff of LEADERSHIP Group Ltd for nominating him as one of the best performing governors of the year 2023

Governor Alia, who made this known during the flag-off ceremony of the Phase 3 oil subsidy removal palliatives distribution held at the head office of the Benue State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, also commended the LEADERSHIP Group for their foresight in rewarding hard work and commitment to service.

According to the governor, the nomination is a testimony to good leadership and service to humanity as well as exemplary stewardship especially as it is coming within his first six months in office.
While dedicating the feat to Benue people for their support, Governor Alia assured them that he was in office to give succour to everyone and that he will continue to do more to reclaim the lost glory of the state by building the Benue of their dreams.

Also nominated alongside Governor Hyacinth Alia are Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde of Oyo State, Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State and Dikko Umar Radda of Kastina State.

Also, the managing director and chief executive officer of the Marvelous Mike Press Ltd, a renowned publishing and printing firm located in Abuja, Engr. Michel Bayo Akinola, has appreciated the chairman and management of the LEADERSHIP Newspapers for nominating him for the award of the Leadership CEO of the year, 2023.
Akinola gave the appreciation when he received a delegation of the top management officers of LEADERSHIP Newspapers led by its vice chairman, Mr. Mike Okpere, yesterday, in Abuja.

The managing director, who promised to deepen relations and partnership with the media house, also assured the management of the paper of his presence at the award ceremony next year.
“On behalf of management, staff of the Marvelous Mike Press and my family, we appreciate the chairman and all the managing staff of LEADERSHIP Newspapers for recognising with for this honour. We pray that God will continue to increase your organisation and take you to the next level. I promise a good relation between your organisation and ours in the coming years,” he said.

In his speech, Okpere, who commended his host and his team for delivering what he described as exceptional printing services that surpass customer expectations, also said the main reason for the visit was in line with LEADERSHIP’s quest of identifying persons and organisations that had impacted the Nigerian nation positively.
He told the CEO that in recognition of his leadership qualities as well as the quality of work delivered by his organisation, he had been nominated as LEADERSHIP CEO of the year 2023 and promised that in the coming year, 2024, all the individuals or organisations chosen will be invested with various LEADERSHIP awards.
