The general manager of the Zeberced Limited, Nasir Ibrahim has described the nomination of their company, as the LEADERSHIP’s Company of the year, 2023 as a big boost that will motivate them to achieve greater things.
The general manager expressed his appreciation when he received a delegation of the top management officers of LEADERSHIP Newspapers led by its vice chairman, Mike Okpere, who were on official to visit, in Abuja, to notify the management of the construction and Quarry Company of their nomination and award.

Ibrahim said they least expected this recognition from one of the nation’s famous media organisations, considering the nature of their activities which he said has always been on a low key level. He added that they are happy that their services are getting greater visibility especially to Nigerians and the press and promised to put more efforts to provide quality products and services that will bring positive contribution to the country.
He stressed that they have developed their quarry to be the biggest in west Africa with the capacity of more than 11,000 tons per day and boasted that they are now major suppliers of asphalt to major construction companies like Julius Berger, Dantata & Sawoe, CCECC, Centraco and the likes.

“We thank you very much for recognizing us with this award; it’s a very big landmine for us. We are thankful that our activities are getting recognised, we sincerely appreciate it. We least expect this, because our company works on the ground, we are very quiet in our activities”.

“Though we have never had any contract directly from the federal government, but we are very grateful for the Nigerian government for assisting us especially lately through the bank of industry, this will help to boast the project of the industrial pack we are undertaking. In the next one or two years, this project will be achieved. We have a very vibrant minister in the FCT, we are pretty sure that things will change and we hope that very soon we will have our access road which is the major challenge of the industrial pack”.

“We have achieved almost 90 percent of the first phase of our industrial pack which is also going to be a free zone. We are expecting about over 200 small and medium scale factories there and with the potential to employ about over 40 million Nigerians. As you can see it is already a very massive project”, he stated.

“Your organisation is one of those that should be celebrated. LEADERSHIP therefore wishes to inform you formally that your Company has been nominated as the company of the year 2023. That singular act is the reason why we have decided to visit you and to let you know”, he said.
