Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has signed the state’s 2024 appropriation bill of N313.4 billion into law.

The approved budget which was earlier sent to the state House of Assembly by the governor has N311.4 billion but was increased by the house by N2 billion.

Signing the budget, the governor vowed to remain steadfast and committed to ensuring that every money appropriated in the budget would be judiciously used for the development of the state.

“The documents I assent to here in your presence did not represent just the numbers and figures on the paper but the wish and the aspiration of our dear Taraba State,” he noted.

The appropriation bill was earlier on Friday passed into law by the State House of Assembly led by the speaker, Hon John Kizito Bonzena.
