In the spirit of giving back to the community, Kids Time Out (KTO) with Ogeradiant, a charitable organization known for her care and support for indigent children in Ajegunle, hosted its 13th Christmas Fair for less privileged children living in the Ajegunle community.

KTO have always used the Christmas season to celebrate and spread love with children in Ajegunle by creating a warm and memorable Christmas. The Christmas fair had in participation over 2,500 children to enjoy a fun-filled celebration.

Some of the special activities that took place at the event were face painting, quiz competition, dance and choreography competitions, bouncing castles, games, spin and win games, train rides, and of course some goodies and treats. The children were served a sumptuous meal with drinks and thereafter, they got to visit Santa Claus Grotto who presented gifts to each of them.

Kemi Thomas of Chuzza School, Faithfulness Joseph of High Stone College, Yusuf Malik of Awodiora Junior Sec. Rokeeb Hassan of Citadel of Excellence and Glory Nwobodo of Divine Academy won N10,000 each.

According to the convener, Ogechukwu Faith (Ogeradiant), the idea of making Christmas special by giving back and putting smiles on the faces of these children was to ensure that every child has a feel of Christmas and opportunity to mingle and make new friends. It helps to develop the child’s mental capacity and helps the child to express his God given talent.

“Love for children has always been the motivation for what we do. This is our own little way of giving back to society. We are happy that this initiative was able to spur excitement and live up to the spirit of Christmas in the hearts of these kids. It was such a pleasure putting a smile on so many little faces at Yuletide.”

The children were filled with appreciation as they thronged round the organizers taking pictures and striking different poses.
