Governor Buni gave the assurance at a reception organised in his honour by Fulaaku Geremas in Damaturu.
He said his administration would continue to provide the enabling environment for cattle breeders to ensure peaceful coexistence with farmers in the state.

According to him, his administration would focus on provision of potable water, qualitative education, healthcare, roads and more dams for cattle breeders in the state.
He commended the cordial relationship existing between farmers and herders in the state and encouraged them to avoid conflict.

He called on the Fulani community to engage in farming business and the traditions of cattle breeding to improve their socio-economic development.

The governor expressed appreciation to the Fulani community for honouring him, saying it would spur him to do more for the people.
Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Hon. Chiroma Buba Mashio, said the reception was organised to honour the governor for his concern for the Fulani community.
