The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has undergone significant leadership changes with the redeployment of key personnel, including Deputy Corps Marshal Bisi Kazeem, the former Corps Public Education Officer.

LEADERSHIP reports that Kazeem was redeployed to assume the role of Deputy Corps Marshal in charge of the Training Department at the National Headquarters in Abuja.

The FRSC, in a statement signed by the Deputy Corps Public Education Officer, Charles Edem, said on Tuesday that the redeployment follows a directive from the Corps Marshal, FRSC, Dauda Ali Biu.

Others redeployed include Deputy Corps Marshal Shehu Alkali Zaki, formerly in charge of the Training Department, who will now oversee the Department of Operations; Assistant Corps Marshal Jonas Agwu, previously in charge of Command Administration and Strategies (CAS), who will now lead the Corps Public Education Office, taking over from Kazeem.

This redeployment comes with the recent appointment of Deputy Corps Marshal Kazeem to a higher rank, marking his first deployment in this capacity.

Corps Marshal Biu expressed confidence in the capabilities of the redeployed senior officers, urging them to leverage their professional expertise to provide impactful leadership in their new roles.

The redeployment will be effective from January 15, 2024, coinciding with the conclusion of the ongoing Operation Zero Tolerance Special Patrol.
