The Ghanaian musician whose real name is Effia Addo from Asanti tribe, spoke to selected journalists in Lagos, and said that her coming to Nigeria was to connect  with the Nigerian fans who had shown her acceptance.

The graduate of Engineering from Sheffield University said, “We have been receiving so much love and support from the Nigerian fan base just from the streaming of our song.

We’ve always had a close relationship with Nigerians because when I started writing music, it was with Nigerian friends in university that I started gathering my passion for Afrobeats back in the day. It was nice to see links, a very good friend of mine started even in London and I had worked with up and up and coming artists in London.

“Now my new single, I like That is my debut professional single and the visual comes out in February where we will make a return visit to Lagos, Nigeria where we have received much love,” says the amiable vocal diva.
