A group, Concerned Northern Frontier (CNF) has charged ministers in President Bola Tinubu’s administration to continue the execution of projects initiated by the previous administration.

Addressing newsmen yesterday in Abuja, the convener of CNF, Muhammed Bassa, stressed the need for a seamless transition of policies and projects rather than unnecessary battles for supremacy.

He also called on President Tinubu to rein in ministers playing politics with approvals and progress made by the previous government, advocating for collaboration and support for the renewed hope agenda.

Bassa reaffirmed his group’s support for Tinubu’s agenda, urging Nigerians to be patient while exposing any negative intentions within the government.

He emphasised on the importance of allowing agencies under the Housing and Urban Development Ministry to deliver on their mandates without undue political interference.

Basa also advised the federal government against revocation of old contracts that has passed due process.

“We have watched over time activities of some ministers under President Tinubu’s government that is signaling trouble ahead for the regime based on their actions and activities against the people and most policies of the former government.

“It has come to our notice that most of them are cancelling approvals and setting aside approvals granted by some former ministers before leaving office. This shows a clear hostility against the former administration,” he stated.
