He also inaugurated the construction of a six-kilometre signboard, Juji to Bypass Road in the seemingly abandoned Sabon Tasha area of Chikun council.

At the inauguration of the road project at Gadar Gayan yesterday, Governor Sani said the road is one of the many projects lined up by his administration to bridge the gap between the rural and urban areas, as well as make rural living pleasurable.

The governor who was flanked by his deputy, Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe added that, aside the immediate employment opportunities it will create along the benefiting communities, the 35 kilometers road will on completion after 12 months, link the farming communities with markets.

He said, “Igabi and Chikun local government areas have huge agricultural potentials, hence we are committed to giving our local farmers the necessary support required to boost their yields and market their produce.
