All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant and senator representing Edo Central in the National Assembly, Monday Okpebholo, has promised to declare a state of emergency in all sectors of Edo State if elected as governor.

The politician made this known over the weekend when he met APC executives and delegates in Etsako Central, Etsako East, Etsako West, Owan and Akoko-Edo local government areas in Edo North and appealed for support to emerge the party’s flag bearer.

The senator outlined his vision for a transformative governance which he said would address pressing issues facing the state.

He promised to bring about substantial and rapid changes to the state’s socio-economic landscape.

“I stand before you today with a solemn pledge to declare a state of emergency in all sectors of Edo State if I am elected as your governor. We cannot afford to maintain the status quo when our people are yearning for progress and development. It’s time for bold and decisive actions,” declared Senator Okpebholo.

Okpebholo said going by his experience and dedication to public service, he possesses the leadership qualities required to steer Edo State towards prosperity.
