Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has sought to partner with the Federal Ministry of Works and the Federal Ministry of Blue Economy to unlock economic potential in the state.
A statement by the director general press affairs Government House Gombe, Ismaila Uba Misilli said Governor Inuwa yesterday in continuation of his strategic engagements with the federal government in pursuit of progress and prosperity for Gombe State met separately with the minister of works, David Umahi and that of marine and blue economy, Adegboyega Oyetola in their respective offices.

Governor Inuwa had last November called on the federal government to intervene in addressing existing road infrastructure challenges.
In a follow up meeting, he emphasized the urgency of resolving challenges on key routes such as Gombe-Dukku-Darazo, Gombe-Bauchi, Gombe-Biu, and Gombe-Bajoga-Potiskum roads.
Inuwa has been consistently pushing for collaborative effort between the state and federal governments to achieve a positive transformation of the road infrastructure within the state, especially within the framework of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Meanwhile, at the Marine and Blue Economy Ministry, Governor Inuwa highlighted the wealth lying beneath the waves.

Inuwa expressed his administration’s eagerness to collaborate with the federal government to unlock the full potential of these underwater resources.
Governor Inuwa highlighted the remarkable developments taking place at the Muhammadu Buhari Industrial Park near the Dadinkowa Dam, and the immense economic potential that it holds for not only Gombe State but also for Nigeria.

The governor outlined the various sectors within the park that are set to contribute significantly to job creation and economic development of Gombe, the North-East and Nigeria.
