The Portuguese club revealed that taremi is struggling with an injury to the abductor in his right thigh.
The 31-year-old has scored 86 goals in 172 appearances in all competitions since he joined from Rio Ave.
However, Taremi has found goals hard to come by this season, with only three in the Primeira Liga and three more in other competitions.

The Iran international played in Porto’s last two fixtures and will hope to face the Gunners, but the club has said he suffered the muscle injury in training on Sunday and is undergoing treatment.
Gonçalo Ribeiro, Marcano, Zaidu are also all doubts ahead of the encounter.
