The Emir of Gwandu and chairman of Kebbi State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Muhammadu Bashar, has advocated for justice, fairness and ethical practices in businesses particularly on food commodities.
He spoke when he held a meeting with traders, community leaders and other stakeholders at his palace in Birnin Kebbi.
The emir urged them to use collective responsibility and community engagement in addressing economic hardship beyond government or protests and tasked Nigerians on sacrifice to keep the country united.
“This country is ours; we must see ourselves as brothers and sisters. Nigeria is a big country and contains so much; we must sacrifice to keep it one,” he said.
