It’s the story of unidentified parasites taking over their human hosts with one intent – “to parasitize the human race.” Hence, they look like humans, think like humans and at like humans, but they are not humans. It is left to humanity to rise and combat the growing threat.

The series stars Jeon So-nee as Su-in, a woman grappling with her new reality of co-existing with parasites, and relentless Team Grey, led by Lee Jung-hyun (as Jun-kyung) dedicated to fighting the unidentified parasites, whilst Koo Kyo-hwan (who plays Kang-woo) hunted by a parasite, searches for his missing sibling amidst the chaos.

The series launched on Netflix in November 2021, with the announcement of a second season made in 2023.
