Gov Radda Flags Off 1.5km Kofar Soro-Kofar Guga Road

Katsina State Governor Dikko Umar Radda has flagged off the construction of a 1.5-kilometre dual carriageway.
The road contract awarded at the cost of N3.553 billion was part of his urban renewal plan, posed to streamline traffic flow, alleviate congestion, and enhance overall safety and efficiency for commuters as well as boost the socio-economic well-being of the state.

At the event, the governor said the scope of the project encompasses various facets, ranging from the installation of solar street light, relocation of water facilities and electricity, and provision of compensation to affected households or individuals.
Announcing that about 40 per mobilisation fund of N1.445 billion has been paid to the contractor, ‘Mother CAT’, urging residents of the state to be patient and cooperate with the contractor handling the project for their collective benefit.

Earlier, the representative of Mother CAT Limited, Mr. Maroon Gosten, assured of completing the project before the stipulated 18-month timeline for the project.

Represented at the event human resources and administration manager, Joy Ebu, said building a 21st Century woman in every ramification can be challenging and demanding, but achievable, adding that it is essential to take care of their wellness to succeed in every area.

Anaele said, “It is possible for women to have it all, to enjoy a thriving professional life while keeping a sound mind, relationships, personal aspirations and general well-being.

“By prioritising your wellness, you can succeed in your career, at home, in society, and in your personal life. It is also important to remember that it’s not a one-time thing but a continuous effort. Make sure to check in on yourself regularly and adjust your self-care routine accordingly,” he said.
