Manchester United will be looking to book their place at Wembley when they face Liverpool on Sunday.

It’s a match that could define Erik ten Hag’s future, with the Red Devils out of Europe and 17 points adrift of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League.

United have endured a disappointing season so far and the FA Cup is their last realistic chance to win a major piece of silverware this term.

The Red Devils have already beaten Wigan, Newport and Nottingham Forest to reach this stage of the competition but face their toughest task so far when Liverpool come to town.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have lost just one of their last 21 matches in all competitions and are eyeing an historic quadruple.

In goal, Andre Onana is expected to keep his place in the United side for the visit of Klopp’s men, having started 38 of their 39 competitive matches this season.

The only one he has missed came in the FA Cup against Newport while he was away with Cameroon at the African Cup of Nations.

Moving into defence, Diogo Dalot is set to start on the right side of the back four with Victor Lindelof at left-back as Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia are still out.

As for the centre-back pairing, Harry Maguire, who is expected to return from injury, could partner Raphael Varane with Jonny Evans moving to the bench.

Casemiro wasn’t at his best against Everton last weekend but is set to keep his place alongside Kobbie Mainoo as the double pivot.

They would sit behind an attacking midfield trio of Bruno Fernandes, Scott McTominay and Alejandro Garnacho, with Marcus Rashford up front.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Rasmus Hojlund are set to return to the match-day squad but may have to settle for a place on the bench.

Also, expected to be among the substitutes are Antony, Sofyan Amrabat, Christian Eriksen, Altay Bayindir and a couple of academy graduates.
