Uzodimma’s Reappointment Of Onuegbu As Political Adviser Excites Imo Diaspora

The convener and coordinator, Imo Diaspora Support for Senator Hope Uzodimma, Ochiagha Nnanna Okere, has hailed the reappointment of Chief Barr. Enyinnaya Onuegbu as Chief Political Adviser and Head of Political Bureau, Government of Imo State by Governor Hope Uzodimma.

In a statement he made available to journalists on Sunday, Okere said Barr. Onuegbu’s reappointment was a testament of commitment to the mission and vision of the Imo State Government.

He said that the Diaspora organisation was particularly excited that the lawyer was getting the recognition he deserved for his numerous contributions towards the shared prosperity government of Senator Uzodimma.

He said that Onuegbu’s re-appointment means that he delivered with confidence and trust in his first outing. He noted that Onuegbu’s role as the Chief Political Adviser/Head of Political Bureau and a key member of the campaign team during the last governorship election showcased his astuteness. He added that the campaign achieved a historic feat, winning in all 27 local government areas of Imo State, a remarkable accomplishment in the state’s electoral history.

He said the organisation will continue to support the government of Senator Uzodimma in his quest to develop the state for the economic well-being of Imo people irrespective of party affiliation.

Hear him, “The Imo people in the Diaspora will to continue to support the Imo State government as it strives to advance development in the State for another four years.”

The statement also read in part, “In the recent reappointment of Chief Barr. Enyinnaya Onuegbu as Chief Political Adviser and Head of Political Bureau in the Government of Imo State by Governor Hope Uzodimma, a clear message has been sent – a recognition of dedication, competence, and trustworthiness.

“Chief Onuegbu’s responsibilities as the Chief Political Adviser are multifaceted and crucial to the success of the state government. Firstly, he serves as a key liaison between the governor and various political stakeholders, including party leaders, legislators, and community representatives. In this capacity, he must foster unity, collaboration, and effective communication to ensure the smooth operation of government policies and programs.”

Okere also said that Onuegbu’s reappointment was a testament to his leadership, competence, and dedication to the service of Imo State, adding that as he assumes his duties once again, it was imperative that he remains true to the values of integrity, diligence, and humility.
