IPAC Urged To Maintain Unity Among Members

The newly elected executive of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Enugu State chapter has been advised to continue to maintain unity among its members and make its voice heard in the state.

Special adviser to Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, Mr Frank Anioma, gave the advice when he witnessed the handover ceremony of the leadership of IPAC in the state to the newly elected state executive members of the council led by Obioma Nnamani.

“My advice to them is to continue from where the immediate executive left, making their voice heard in Enugu State in collaborating with the incumbent government of Enugu State.

“And as the slogan of IPAC is for good governance so that they will continue to maintain and be watchdog to call a government to account for its actions.” He stated.

He commended the immediate past chairman, Edwin Alor for all he was able to achieve during his tenure , saying it was a challenge on the incoming to improve on the achievements

Addressing journalists, the newly inaugurated chairman,  Hon. Obioma Nnamani, who is also the state  chairman of BOOT Party in Enugu State, described IPAC as  an advisory body, stating that one of the things they are going to  do is to live up to their function.

Nnamani pledged that they are going to ensure a high level of transparency and accountability in all their  dealings in IPAC. 

“At the same time, we are going to ensure that the political parties have a good working relationship with INEC, ENSIEC and as well have synergy with the state government in the overall interest of the good people of Enugu State. 

He advised all IPAC members  to join hands together as one family to pilot the affairs of the council to greater heights. We recognise that we have our collective strengths when we come together. We have to leverage on that in order to move IPAC forward.

In his hand over speech, the mediate past chairman, Edwin Alor appreciated all members of his executive and the house for their patience, understanding and support that helped them succeed.

He further urged them to  forgive all his errors and looked forward to a greater IPAC in Enugu State.
