Rev. Caleb Ma’aji has taken over as new chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Kaduna State chapter.
He is of the TEKAN/ECWA bloc who until his inauguration was the secretary of the chapter.
In his speech before handing over to the new chairman, Rev. Dr. John Joseph Hayab urged Christians in Kaduna State to support his successor more than they did to him, adding that he would also support the association personally and financially like he had always done when he was chairman.

Rev. Hayab urged the people to avoid side talks, saying the emergence of the new chairman was basically the choice of his bloc and not him and advised people particularly those who lost the election to stop spreading falsehood.

Others Inaugurated are Apostle Emmanuel Bako Eggo from the CPFN/PFN bloc as vice Chairman while Superior Evangelist Emmanuel Okunola from the OAIC bloc is the new Secretary, Bro. Emmanuel Zwahu from the Catholic bloc as Assistant Secretary, Venerable Moses Opadokun from the CCN bloc is the new Treasurer.

Rev. Hayab expressed satisfaction with the smooth and peaceful conduct of the election saying he was confident that the new chairman would build on the good legacies put in place.
