Foundation Provides Legal Services To 12,000 Nigerians

Headfort Foundation for Justice, a leading non-profit organisation, disclosed yesterday that it has successfully provided essential legal services to over 12,000 Nigerians in need, empowering them to access justice and defend their fundamental rights.

Founder of Headfort Foundation for Justice, Oluyemi Adetiba-Orija, who spoke at an event to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Foundation in Lagos, said over the past five years, Headfort Foundation has made significant strides in advancing social justice, empowering individuals, and fostering positive change in Nigeria.

“Since its inception in March 2019, Headfort Foundation for Justice has remained steadfast in its commitment to upholding the rights of every individual, regardless of socio-economic background or legal status. Through its dedicated team of legal experts and passionate advocates, the organization has successfully provided essential legal services to over 12,000 Nigerians in need, empowering them to access justice and defend their fundamental rights,” she affirmed.

 

In addition to its direct legal assistance efforts, the Foundation has been at the forefront of advocacy campaigns aimed at addressing systemic injustices and promoting legislative reforms to safeguard human rights, the Founder said.

He further disclosed that, “Through strategic partnerships, grassroots mobilization, and targeted advocacy initiatives, the organization has effectively raised awareness about pressing human rights issues and advocated for meaningful policy changes at local, national, and international levels.”

 

She posited that the journey has been marked by resilience, determination, and unwavering dedication to the principles of justice and equality, while reiterating her commitment to more just and equitable society for all.
