Prices of some food items have crashed in Enugu, investigations  have  revealed.

Our correspondent who visited some markets in Enugu observed that prices of fresh tomatoes, onions and garri reduced slightly.

It was gathered that a basket of tomatoes that was sold for at about 20,000 naira is now sold at between N12,000 and N16,000.

It was also observed that three paint-pan sizes of onions sold at N10,000 is now sold at N5,000 as of the time of filing this report.

Our investigations further revealed that a paint of crawfish sold at between N6,000 and N7,500 is now sold at 4,500.

Although the price of popular commodity like garri did not reduce with a wide margin our findings revealed that the price of the product has reduced.
