As President Bola Tinubu continues to receive messages from well-wishers on his 72nd birthday, a political support group of the All Progressives Congress APC, G37, has joined millions of Nigerians to congratulate him.

In a statement signed by its national coordinator, Comrade Evans City, the group said Tinubu is a man who has used his formative years to struggle for the emancipation of the oppressed in Nigeria.

City recalled the role the president played in ensuring the return of democracy to Nigeria, which he said almost cost his him life during the days of military dictatorship in the country.

He urged Nigerians to rally round the president, noting that as a man of destiny, he will salvage the country from the economic doldrums.

“The President inherited a bad economy and as we can see despite the hues and cries over the removal of subsidy things have started taking shape,” City added.

The group further cautioned Nigerian youths not to be willing tools in the hands of the enemies of the present administration to foment trouble, saying they should rather support the president in nation-building.

The group also congratulated the Christian faithful on this year’s Easter celebration, calling on every one to use the period to pray fervently for peace and development of the country.
