Bala Nikyu has been named new Technical Adviser of Nigeria Premier League club, Gombe United.
Nkiyu replaced Mohammed Babaganaru who left the post earlier this month.
He signed a contract till the end of the season.
The experienced tactician is expected to take charge of the team immediately.
The General Manager of the Savannah Scorpions Abubakar Abubakar Yellow, expressed confidence in the former Nasarawa United head coach capabilities to help the club escape relegation.
“Nikyu is a well-experienced gaffer. His proven track record and tactical knowledge will be invaluable assets to our team,” he stated during his unveiling.
“We believe that under his leadership, we can mould a solid team that will strive to please our supporters and stakeholders.”
Gombe United are currently struggling to avoid relegation from the NPFL.
