Fintiri Approves N16bn For Adamawa Road Projects

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has approved N16 billion for the construction of Bajabure roads in Adamawa State

Fintiri approved the 17km road network in Girei local government area at the state council meeting yesterday.

The commissioner of information and strategy, Mrs Neido Geoffrey told newsmen that the contract was awarded to Messrs Triacta Nigeria Ltd  with a completion period of 12 months.

The resolution of the council, she said was in fulfillment of the present administration’s commitment to urbanize the state capital with extension to other local government areas

The council also approved N740 million variation for the construction of road network at the 1,000  Housing Estate in Malkohi

The commissioner for education, Dr Umar Garba Pella said the approvals were targeted to ease the plight of commuters and residents as well as to beautify the state.
