Eid-El-Fitr: Gov Sani, Emir Of Zazzau Pray For Peace, Progress In Kaduna

The Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has tasked citizens on peace and progress of the state, urging them to carry on with the good virtues and lessons of Ramadan.

The governor made the call on Wednesday at the Emir of Zazzau’s Palace during the Sallah Durbar celebration shortly after the Eid prayer in Zaria.

Sani said:“we have prayed for the peace of our State in the Month of Ramadan and I want us to carry on with the good virtues and the lessons of Ramadan and continue to work for the peace and progress of the State and the country generally.

“We are facing some challenges as you are aware, mostly insecurity which we are all working closely together with the stakeholders and the government at the federal level in addressing them.

“We also have other challenges that we are looking at generally, we are calling on our citizens to continue to work for the progress of our State,” the governor added.

The Emir of Zazzau, Amb. Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli at the event commended the Federal, Kaduna State governments and security operatives for the efforts put in place to ensure peace in the State.

Bamalli also commended the governments’ joint efforts towards rescuing the abducted Kuriga School children.

”The effort of the Federal and Kaduna State Government towards resettling the Tudun Biri community is highly commendable” the Emir said.
