To mark the Eid-el-Fitr festival, Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho has celebrated and bonded with the vulnerable children and all Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) at

IDP Camp in Durumi district of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, on Wednesday.

The humanitarian activist visited the IDPs alongside her Foundation to create a social atmosphere for the vulnerable children and all persons at the IDP camp. She described her gesture as a social bonding celebration to give them a sense of belonging and joy as they celebrate the festive period.

It was an exciting fun fair for both the vulnerable children and the parents at the IDP Camp. The social intervention offered by the philanthropist, Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, was seen to be unique and commended by the SSA to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, who witnessed the presentation of gifts and other deliverables at the camp.

The parents of the vulnerable children expressed their heartfelt appreciation to HRM Halimat Adenike Tejuosho and the QAT Foundation as they watch their children celebrating the Sallah festival with lots of foods and drinks, ice creams, pop corns and take-home souvenirs and gifts.

The social bonding had the children engaged in dancing and singing competitions, quiz, and other social activities.

The SSA to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities expressed his satisfaction while describing the philanthropist, Queen Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, as a rare gem who would turn around the affairs of the Humanitarian Ministry when she comes on board as the Minister.

The SSA, in his remarks, said Queen Adenike Tejuosho has been recommended for the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation by several bodies, institutions, civil societies and the Nigeria Disability Communities.
