Kwara Senator, Sadiq Umar Loses Father

The father of the senator representing Kwara North in the National Assembly, Sadiq Umar, Alh Suleiman Omar, is dead.

Omar, a former Secretary to the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, and a top bureaucrat died at the age of 86 years on Tuesday night.

Meanwhile, Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has expressed heartfelt condolences to Senator Umar on the death of his father.

Governor AbdulRazaq, in a condolence message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, urged Senator Sadiq and his family to thank Allah for a life of service to humanity and commitment to higher ideals that Alhaji Omar led until his death.

The governor asked Allah to admit the deceased to al-jannah firdaus and keep his household united on the right path.
