Edo Deputy Gov Pledges Support For Obaseki To Finish Well

Deputy governor of Edo State, Engr Marvellous Godwins Omobayo has pledged to work with Governor Godwin Obaseki to finish well.

Omobayo made the promise during his first visit to Akoko-Edo, his local government after his inauguration as deputy governor of the state.

He was overwhelmed by the joy and celebration of the people of Akoko-Edo, Owan people and Etsako over his appointment by Governor Obaseki.

The deputy governor who was in awe over the celebration of the people, assured that he would never disappoint them.

He promised to work with the governor to put in place signature projects that people could point to as their achievements during his stint as deputy governor of the state.

The deputy governor who toured other five local government areas of Edo North, was well received in all the local government areas he visited.

Omobayo was sworn in as deputy governor of the state on April 8, 2024.
