Gombe LG Polls: Gov Inuwa Votes, Urges Support For Winners

As local governments election takes place this Saturday across Gombe State, the Governor Inuwa Yahaya has cast his vote at his polling unit at Government Science Secondary School, Jeka da fari.

Governor Yahaya cast his vote at 11am after which he spoke with journalists shortly after casting his vote.

 

He said the state government had provided level playing grounds to all parties during the election across the state.

Yahaya also urged losers in the election to support the winners to enable them deliver good governance.

 

He however said that a petition tribunal had been set up where those dissatisfied with the outcomes of the election can approach it to seek redress.

The governor similarly expressed satisfaction with the turnout of voters at his polling unit and the peaceful conduct of the voters.
