NATCOM Congratulates Tinubu, Nigerian Workers On 2024 May Day

The National Commission for the Co-ordination and Control of Proliferation of Small Arms and Light Weapons (NATCOM) has congratulated Nigerian workers on this year’s International Workers’ Day, charging them to use their resilient spirit to promote only those things that will further unite the people as one indivisible entity.

The proponent of NATCOM Bill, Dr.
Baba Mohammed, in a statement issued in Abuja on Wednesday, urged Nigerian workers to build upon the nation’s democratic tenets of freedom, rule of law, accountability and probity.

He expressed the hope that some of the challenges confronting the nation ranging from insecurity in some parts of the country, economic hardship and other vices will soon become a thing of the past.

Dr. Mohammed specifically lauded the President Bola Tinubu administration’s commitment towards solving the nation’s security challenges as well as rejigging the economy for the betterment of the people.

He further enjoined Nigerian workers and indeed all citizens not to give up hope but remain steadfast in their commitment towards a stable, united and prosperous nation, especially at this challenging time.
