Adedeji Advocates For Global Tax Reform

In today’s rapidly evolving economic landscape, executive chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and President of the Commonwealth Association of Tax Administrators (CATA), Dr. Zacch Adedeji has stressed the need for global tax reform for effective tax administration stands as a linchpin for stability and growth.

Adedeji stayed during the recent CATA Management Committee Meeting held in London, while delivering a poignant address, underlining the urgent need to bolster capacity within tax administrations of CATA member countries.

In a statement by the technical assistant, Broadcast Media, Federal Inland Revenue Service, Arabinrin Aderonke ANIPR, said his resolute focus on this issue signals a proactive approach towards confronting the ever-evolving challenges in the global tax arena.

Adedeji underscored the vital role of effective tax administration in fostering stability and growth in today’s dynamic economic landscape.

His proactive stance highlights the urgency of enhancing capacity within tax administrations of CATA member countries to address evolving challenges.
