They are to face charges of alleged N2.7 billion contract fraud uncovered in the aviation ministry under Sirika.

Sirika and others will be arraigned before Justice Sylvanus Oriji of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
The former minister will appear in court with his co-defendants: Fatima and Al-Duraq Investment Ltd, on charges of abusing their positions to launder over N2.7 billion.

Sirika was arrested and quizzed by the EFCC investigators over alleged fraudulent contracts awarded by him to a company known as Engirios Nigeria Limited, owned by his younger brother, Abubakar Sirika.
In February, EFCC investigated the activities of the Aviation Ministry under Sirika for conspiracy, abuse of office, diversion of public funds and contract inflation.

Others are criminal breach of trust and money laundering amounting to N8,069,176,864.00 during Sirika’s tenure in office.
