Troops Kill 1 Terrorist In Transit To Attack Kaduna Community

Nigerian Army troops in Kaduna State acting on actionable intelligence, ambushed and killed one of the terrorists while transiting with arms in the Birnin Gwari axis of the state.

The Army disclosed on its official X handle on Wednesday that troops laid in ambush around Kwaga Village for the terrorists known for causing mayhem within the Birnin Gwari local government area, killing one while others fled in disarray.

The statement said troops’ quick reaction prevented a potential attack on innocent citizens in the area.

The troops also recovered two AK-47 rifles with magazines, as well as two motorbikes in the encounter.

The statement said, “Troops are currently in pursuit of the fleeing terrorists.”
