Chairman, Oyo State Hospitals Management Board, Dr Akin Fagbemi stated this during a closed-door meeting with the leadership of the association in his office, pledging that the government would work to meet eight points demand of the association.

He noted the acknowledgment of various letters written by the association to the board before his assumption of office which necessitated the call for his meeting with them.

Fagbemi, on behalf of Governor Seyi Makinde, appreciated the leadership of the association for their willingness to work with the government to resolve the ongoing strike.

He also commended the critical services being rendered by them to the state, adding that the Makinde-led administration was a listening government that had put all machinery in place to address their agitation long before the commencement of the strike.

The board chairman assured the association to do everything possible to resolve the situation.
