The founder, Queen Adenike Tejuosho made the donations at the ‘2024 QAT Foundation Children Day Celebration’ which was held at the Kuchingoro’s IDP camp, where she joined the children to celebrate.

She reiterated the need to identify with the vulnerables on children’s day, especially those in the internally displaced camp, who probably might have never been celebrated in their life.

In her speech, Queen Tejuosho said the Foundation has turned the celebration to a yearly event to spread love, adding: “Children are the most important possession”

The 2024 celebration Tejuosho explained further was in line with the President Bola Tinubu Renewed Hope Agenda designed to interface and put smiles on their faces.

“Some of them don’t even know what Children’s Day is; we are here today to celebrate them and to make them happy because we all deserve to be happy.

“For us this is not only important but also very significant. It is in line with President Tinubu and the First Lady’s renewed hope agenda.

“I hope you are also aware that the renewed hope infrastructures where the vulnerable can have shelters on their heads are being anticipated as we speak.

“The First Lady, Madam Oluremi Tinubu has also been carrying out various empowerments to aid women so they can take care of their children. So, we are following their footsteps to spread love and make life worthwhile.” Tejuosho said.

The last edition of the gigs was held at the Durunmi camp where some IDPs are also domiciled.

Also, the national coordinator, Tinubu National Think-Tank, Ambassador Adewale Adeogun described the children Day as very important, urging more vibrant policies to help eliminate poverty and out of school children menace.

The hallmark of the event was the distribution of Noodles for children, food supplies, and various school bags for boys and girls, books, relief materials and other gifts to mark the day.
